Love a bit of pomp

Nat here.  We were in a great vantage spot at work yesterday to see the Governor of Queensland arriving at Parliament House in style with marching bands and a 19-gun salute...she waved, it was very royal-like..

I love a good march!

Husband and I picked up our new car yesterday which was fun, they had a sign prepared welcoming us to our new vehicle and an unveiling of the car, it was something else!

We went to Liquorish at Bulimba to celebrate our new pick-up.  Dessert was something to write home about..

Vanilla pannacotta with strawberry jam doughnuts, pistachio crumbs and fig vinicotto, that all spells d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s!

  1. Oh a new car Nat! How exciting, what did you get. Hope not the one I mentioned the other day?!

  2. Yep, we went with the 10 seater Prado Loz, it was a real city driving necessity - NOT! We bought a BMW that hopefully won't ruin the planet. We nearly bought your Audi which is still one of my favourite cars!
